To much of Bluegrass the way Zeno Tornado and the Boney Google Brothers do it might lead to spontaneous congregations on market places and other wide open spaces. The Band yeilds to the dancers pray. They'll never say no when asked to play "Orange Blossom Special" or "Little Maggie". It's groovy. It's pounding. It's the traditional Bluegrass Songbook played raw as hell.
Most of the time, Zeno Tornado and the Boney Google Brothers play their own songs, hiding nuggets of wrath in each of 'em. Firecrackers like "Road Movie", "BlahBlahBaby" or "Vanbang" won't make you miss a love song. Or the soaring "Everlasting Friend", a song about rotten boyhood friends, especially brothers. Zeno might even cream you with "Misery".
